These include mortgage-backed securities, collateralized mortgage obligations, and other asset-backed securities issued by agencies such as the Federal Home Loan Bank, Fannie Mae, Ginnie Mae, and Freddie Mac. Its holdings also comprise U.S. Treasury securities, bonds from New York state and local municipalities, securities from U.S. government-sponsored enterprises, and corporate bonds. These offerings include certificate of deposit account registry services (CDARS), insured cash sweep programs, merchant credit and debit card processing, automated teller machines (ATMs), cash management solutions, lockbox processing, online banking, remote deposit capture, safe deposit boxes, and individual retirement accounts (IRAs). Dime Community Bancshares, Inc. was founded in 1910 and its corporate headquarters are situated in Hauppauge, New York.
